Delaware County’s number of active COVID-19 cases has gone down slightly since week, but the county’s positivity rate has gone up.
Delaware County Public Health announced Monday morning that the county currently has 161 active cases – a decrease of eight cases since last Monday.
The positivity rate is currently at 10.6 percent – an increase of 2.7% since last Monday.
Delaware County has recorded 1,646 COVID cases since the pandemic began last April.
Thirty-two residents have died from the virus. Two residents are currently hospitalized.
Delaware County Public Health is asking everyone to continue being part of the solution to slowing the spread – avoid large gatherings, keep six feet distance from others, wash your hands, wear a face mask in public and stay home when you are even mildly sick.
