The Manchester Public Library is reopening Tuesday.
For the past year during COVID, the library has offered limited services – most recently, they’ve been open on demand at the front door with limited inside appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
But the City Council had been hearing from residents who were frustrated with the limited services. The Council discussed the issue with Library Director Kristy Folsom at last week’s council meeting, with the public encouraged to attend the Library Board meeting last Thursday to share their opinions.
On Sunday, the Manchester Public Library announced they would reopen for browsing and computer use on Tuesday. Hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 9 to 6, Fridays from 9 to 5 and Saturdays from 9 to 1.
Face masks will be required while in the library. They will also continue offering contactless reserve pick-ups.
