West Delaware’s COVID Case and Quarantine Numbers at Zero

West Delaware’s COVID-19 numbers are currently at zero.

The school district releases its COVID-19 numbers to us each Monday, reporting the number of cases and quarantines among students and staff – and this week, they’re both at zero.

Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey says she believes that is the first time all school year there have been no students or staff currently positive with COVID or in quarantine.

The West Delaware School Board voted on Saturday to make face masks optional for the rest of the school year. Students may also choose to continue attending classes in-person on site or learn remotely via Zoom.
