The James Kennedy Public Library is opening a StoryWalk at West Side Park in Dyersville.
A Story Walk is a fun, educational activity that places a children’s story along a popular walking route. The first story on the Story Walk will be “If You Plant a Seed” by Kadir Nelson. It debuts today and will be available through June 30th.
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Story Walk is being held today at 10 am at West Side Park. Families are invited to attend the ceremony, walk the trail and read the story and then finish with an ice cream treat – and Pete the Cat will be there for photos and to mingle with the kids.
