It’s become one of the biggest concert venues in the state – and on Thursday night, concerts returned to the Great Jones County Fair in Monticello.
Country music duo Dan + Shay took the stage to perform their hits “Speechless”, “10,000 Hours” and their latest chart-topper “Glad You Exist”. Fair Manager John Harms says it was the perfect way to bring live music back to the fair after losing last year’s shows due to the pandemic.
Tonight, it’s the Zac Brown Band in concert – an act that Harms says has been requested many times over the years, ever since their hit song “Chicken Fried” went to #1 in 2009.
And the music continues this weekend, with country star Kane Brown on Saturday night and for KING & COUNTRY on Sunday night.
