It’s been a busy summer for road and bridge projects in Delaware County.
Top Grade Excavating opened the 240th Street culvert site last week. The culverts are set for 300th Street, where crews will be working on the concrete headwalls.
WK Construction has finished milling on the HMA paving project along 245th Street, 267th Street and 210th Avenue. River City Paving is out working on wedge leveling with asphalt and will begin the High Performance Asphalt today.
K Construction is currently working on the 110th Avenue Bridge replacement project, driving the substructure piling. When they’re done there, they’ll begin work on 285th Street.
On the 195th Street Bridge Deck project, the two bridge decks across Quaker Mill and Honey Creek are planned for deck repairs August 16th. The road will be closed for the repairs, but a detour will be in place.
And work is still anticipated to begin around the end of August for the paving on D5X and Jefferson Road.
