The Manchester Fareway has started remodeling their store.
Grocery Manager James Riley says it’s time for an update now that the store is 30 years old.
Riley says Fareway is adding new shelving that’s deeper, which means they can add 250 to 400 new items. And they’re changing the flow of the store so items will be easier to find.
Riley says they’ll be working around customers, with the majority of the remodel taking place while the store is open.
But he says Fareway customers won’t see construction workers all the time, with some of the work going on behind the scenes.
Riley says the important message to get out is don’t be afraid to come shop.
The remodel at the Manchester Fareway store is expected to last several months, with painters scheduled to come in February.
