Immaculate Conception Church in Masonville will be hosting their annual Turkey Dinner on Sunday.
Church member Jane Rubner says it’s a big event for their small church.
This year’s Turkey Dinner will feature turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, corn, coleslaw, cranberries, a roll and pie. Paul Rubner says they expect to go through 75 whole turkeys this year. Most everything is homemade, including the mashed potatoes and dressing – and they even grow their own corn.
The cost for the turkey dinner is $13, with the proceeds helping to fund Immaculate Conception Church, which has been around since 1903.
Sunday’s Turkey Dinner will be served as drive-thru only this year from 11 to 2.
