Manchester United Methodist Church is holding their Chili Cookoff this Saturday night.
Wayne Birkenholz says anyone is welcome to sign up to compete for the title of best chili.
The Chili Cookoff is being held in conjunction with United Methodist Church’s Soup Supper. Birkenholz says events like this raise money for the church’s mission projects.
This particular supper will support a clean water project in Haiti.
The Chili Cookoff/Soup Supper will take place in the newly remodeled dining area, with the Chili Cookoff running from 4 to 5:30 pm and the Soup Supper taking place from 4 to 7 pm. Free will offerings will be accepted.
You can get signed up for the Chili Cookoff by calling the church at 927-4439.
