Dyersville’s ATV Ordinance Extended Until June 30

ATVs are now welcome in Dyersville through the winter and spring.

This is the first year for an ATV ordinance in Dyersville. The ordinance went into effect at the start of summer and was set to expire October 31st.

But on Monday night, the Dyersville City Council approved extending the current ordinance until June 30th. City Administrator Mick Michel tells KMCH the ATV ordinance has been going well. He says there hasn’t been a lot of non-compliance issues.

ATVs and ORUVs are allowed on most city streets, with the exception of state highways, every day from sunrise to sunset.

You can find more details about the ordinance on the City of Dyersville’s website.
