West Delaware’s facilities improvement project is moving right along as planned.
On Monday night, the school board approved the bids for the sales of the bond and the interest rate the district will pay. Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey:
Rickey says West Delaware is also working on programs for next school year, which could include a couple of new additions.
And West Delaware is increasing the pay for their substitute teachers.
The West Delaware School Board has also decided they’d like to look into moving forward with adding solar panels to the roof of the bus barn – Rickey says they hope to have a formal bid process (with possible approval) next month.
