Delaware County Public Health Hosting Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

Delaware County Public Health is hosting their first Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Wednesday.

Delaware County Public Health Supervisor Krystle DeShaw says children are now able to get the vaccine.

DeShaw says children may experience fewer side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine than adolescents or young adults. The CDC has shared that children who have evidence of prior infection may also have fewer side effects.

The Pediatric Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic is a walk-in clinic – it will be held Wednesday from 3 to 6 pm at the Regional Medical Center’s Veterans Education Center on the third floor of the hospital.

If you have any questions about the Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine for children ages 5 through 11, you can reach out to Delaware County Public Health at 927-7551.
