HS BASKETBALL: Results from Tuesday night

The West Delaware Boys Basketball team began their season last night inside Seedorff Gymnasium. The game featured 2 ties and 1 lead change as the Hawks led most of the way in route to a 56-33 victory. WD connected on 5 three-pointers in the first half as they led by as much as 13. Blake DeMoss led the way with 16 points including a 7 for 7 effort from the free throw line, 11 points for Hayden Lyness off the bench, 8 for Raub Loecke, Tyrus Werner with 7, 6 for Luke Kehrli, Bryce Smith had 4, 2 a piece for Jaxson Woellert and Maddux Lott added 2 each. The tripleheader saw the WD Freshmen win by 20 and the Hawk Sophomores lost 48-40.
