West Delaware Starting New Campaign to Support Mental Health

West Delaware is starting a new campaign with hopes to stop the stigma surrounding mental health.

It’s called “Together We Are”. School counselors Mackenzie Atwater, Shelby Piersch and Alicia Soppe says they’re hoping to make a change.

They say one key component is to make brain health more visible to everyone in order to create a culture of support and acceptance. So, as a starting point, they’d like to provide t-shirts for all students and staff.

West Delaware’s school counselors are hoping to raise $20,000 for this “Together We Are” campaign.

If you’re willing to partner with the school and provide a financial donation, they’d appreciate your pledge by this Tuesday, December 21st.

They’re hoping to implement this new campaign yet this school year.
