Mark Hillers – Edgewood formerly of Earlville

Mark Hillers, 60, of Edgewood formerly of Earlville, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Edgewood. Visitation for Mark will be held, Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. John Catholic Church, Delhi. Additional Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2022, with a Scripture Service to follow at 11:30 a.m., with Reverend John Kremer, officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Earlville is in charge of arrangements.
Mark was born July 26, 1961, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Walter and Rosemary (Fessler) Hillers. He graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School in 1980. Mark worked at various sites through the Vocational Training Program. He enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, watching western movies especially the ones with John Wayne and included horses. Mark especially loved his Mountain Dew and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
Mark is survived by his siblings, Bob (Joyce) Hillers, Ric (Jane Hendricks) Hillers, Ron (Karen) Hillers, Sandy Demmer, Deb (Al) Heims, Renee (Ken) Davidshofer, and Lisa (Mark) Kramer, along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rosemary Hillers; sister, Linda Bevins; and infant brother, Jon Hillers.
