Delaware County Public Health has released its latest COVID-19 statistics.
As of Tuesday, Delaware County’s 7-day positivity rate was at 20.8% – up from last week’s rate of 17.6%. A total of 174 new cases were reported in the previous seven days – up from the 149 new cases reported the week before.
Delaware County Public Health says as the county begins to see an increase in positive COVID-19 cases, they urge everyone to get the vaccine.
Delaware County’s vaccine rate for ages 5 and up is at 56.3%, while Iowa’s overall vaccine rate is at 63.6%.
