Timothy Everett MacTaggart, 63, of Volga, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. He was born on January 10, 1959, in Manchester, the son of Everett and Lillian (Livingston) MacTaggart. Tim grew up in Strawberry Point area and attended Starmont schools through 10th grade and then received his GED.
Tim lived in the Strawberry Point and Volga area his whole life. He worked as a carpenter and also as a farm worker. Tim was married and divorced and had seven children. He enjoyed his family, visiting, collecting antiques and gardening.
Survivors include his children, Timothy Johnston of Archie, Missouri, Matthew MacTaggart of Clermont, Melissa Shaw of Clermont, Marshall MacTaggart of Coralville, Lori MacTaggart of Cedar Rapids, Stephen MacTaggart of Oelwein; 9 grandchildren, Justin, Caleb, Cashton, Lexi, Jovana, Raia, Gracie, Wesley, and Kamiya; his four siblings, Teresa (Steven) Goedken of Marion, Donna (Paul) Baughman of Strawberry Point, Dawn (Jim) Connolly of Winthrop, and Charles MacTaggart of Manchester.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cindy MacTaggart

Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 31, 2022, at Cass Township Cemetery in Strawberry Point, Iowa, with Reverend Gary Burkhalter officiating.
