A Dubuque County barn was damaged in a fire on Thursday afternoon.
The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office says the fire broke out at 159 Laban Road southwest of Bernard. Their deputies were called to the scene shortly before 2:30 pm, along with Bernard Fire and EMS and Farley and Cascade fire departments.
A barn and several pieces of farm equipment sustained damage from the fire. Damage was estimated at $80,000.
Authorities did not release the cause of the fire, but they say it’s not considered suspicious.
