Open House for Retiring Manchester Police Officers

An open house is being held this Friday for two longtime officers who are retiring from the Manchester Police Department.

Friday is Captain Rick Carnicle’s last day, while Lieutenant Jim Wessels’ last day on the job is February 15th. They’ve served Manchester for more than thirty years – Carnicle since 1989 and Wessels since 1990.

Both are retiring as part of the City’s voluntary early retirement program.

The City of Manchester invites the public to an open house in their honor on Friday from 11 am to 1 pm at the Manchester Fire Department community room.
