Richard “Rick” Harold Klostermann, 66, of Delhi, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his home. He was born on October 21, 1955, in Manchester, the son of Harold and Ardell (Bockenstedt) Klostermann. Rick was raised in the Dyersville area and was a 1973 graduate of Beckman High School.
On December 28, 1974, Rick was united in marriage to Mary Freiburger at St. John Catholic Church in Delhi. Six sons were born to this union. In 1976 the family moved to their home in Delhi. Rick worked for several area farm cooperatives. He then worked at ATI in Delhi until he retired due to his health.
Rick was a longtime member of St. John Catholic Church. For many years he was a member of the Delhi Fire Department. Rick volunteered as a Boy Scout Leader and 4-H leader. He also enjoyed coaching his sons in Little League baseball and supporting them at their other sporting events. Rick loved his family and spending time with them.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Klostermann of Delhi; his six sons, Aran Klostermann of Delhi, Eric Klostermann of Robins, Casey (Staci) Klostermann of Elkhart, Brent (Krystal) Klostermann of Marion, Travis (Steph) Klostermann of Coralville, and Michael (Jenna Adams) Klostermann of Davenport; 12 grandchildren; one brother, William (Judy) Klostermann of Avon Park, Florida; two sisters, Phyllis (Craig) Watson of Overland Park, Kansas and Carol (Ray) McKowen of Springfield, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Jerry Heiring of Avon Park, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Teri Heiring.
Casual attire is preferred by the family at the visitation and service and face masks are optional.

Mass of Christian Burial: 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at St. John Catholic Church in Delhi, Iowa, with Rev. Gabriel Anderson officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at St. John Catholic Church in Delhi.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
