Virginia May (nee Walker) Livingston, 94, of Cedar Falls, Iowa formally of Edgewood, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Pinnacle Specialty Care in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was born on March 9, 1927 in Wood Center, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Vanter) Walker. Virginia was raised and educated in the Edgewood area. She graduated from Edgewood High School and worked for the Edgewood Community Savings Bank for several years. years.
On May 5, 1954, Virginia was united in marriage to Paul Livingston in Harpers Ferry. Three daughters were born to this union. After Paul’s passing, Virginia re-located to Cedar Falls, where she enjoyed the rest of her years in comfortable surroundings and watching her favorite Bill Holden movies, cooking programs and reading numerous biographies and periodicals.
Survivors include her three daughters, Mitzi Livingston (Rudy Sprenger) of Fredricksburg, Paula Livingston (Mike Salow) of Urbana, and Roberta Livingston (Michael Meisinger) of Chicago, Illinois.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Livingston in 1999; her parents, Dorothy and Robert Walker; her brother Virgil Walker and her sister Noreen Roth.
Services will be private however anyone who wishes to show their respect for her life are encouraged to donate to IPBN (Iowa Public Broadcasting Network) who she devotedly watched and contributed to throughout her life.
