DNR Hosting Public Meeting in Dubuque County to Gather Feedback on Hunting Season

The DNR is hosting a series of town hall-style meetings to get feedback from Iowans on the hunting season.

One of the town hall-style meetings will be held in Dubuque County later this month.

DNR Wildlife Bureau Chief Todd Bishop says they want people to come out, listen to a recap of the hunting seasons and hear directly from their staff. He says part of the meeting will be devoted to discussing potential rule changes and collecting feedback as the DNR works through the rules process.

The public is invited to the upcoming meeting, which will be held February 22nd in Dubuque at the EB Lyons Nature Center at Mines of Spain starting at 7 pm.
