Beverly Jean Bradley, 92, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester. She was born on August 22, 1929, in Colesburg, the daughter of Elmer and Lillian “Fern” (Dodge) Holthaus. Bev was raised in the Colesburg area and was a 1947 graduate of Colesburg High School.
After her graduation, Bev moved to Omaha, Nebraska, and attended a secretarial school. She worked as a secretary in Omaha for a year before returning to Iowa.
On June 12, 1952, Bev was united in marriage to Ernest Bradley at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Eight children were born to this union. The couple lived in rural Manchester before moving to town in 1958. Caring for her eight children and her home kept Bev busy over the years.
Bev enjoyed cooking and collecting recipes. In her later years, she enjoyed adult coloring books. Bev loved her family and enjoyed visiting with friends and family.
Survivors include her eight children, Sherry (Larry) Goranson of Manchester, Ronald Bradley of Waterloo, Terry (Dixie) Bradley of Manchester, Robert (Patty) Bradley of Manteno, Illinois, Michael (Cindy) Bradley of Manchester, Linda (Terry) Higgins of Omaha, Nebraska, Greg Bradley and Duane Bradley, both of Manchester; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jim (Judy) Holthaus of Fairfax and Roger (Cheryl) Holthaus of Spokane, Washington; one sister, Loretta Clute of Manchester; a sister-in-law, Donna Holthaus of Colesburg; and many nieces and nephews.
Bev was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest Bradley in 2015; and a brother, Arnold Holthaus.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the Manchester United Methodist Church in Manchester, Iowa, with Rev. Phil Rogers officiating.
Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. Friends may also call after 9:00 a.m. at the church on Saturday.
Interment: Oakland Cemetery – Manchester, Iowa
