Two Lamont residents have been arrested for stealing cash from a lost wallet.
Manchester Police say their department received a complaint from someone who lost his wallet in Manchester on December 22nd. He reported it to police after the wallet was returned to him through the post office.
An investigation uncovered that two people found the wallet lying on the ground outside a business in Manchester. They took the wallet with them, removed the cash and later left the wallet at a post office to be returned to the owner.
Police arrested 35-year old Kristina Cornwell and 40-year old Brett Waring, both of Lamont, earlier this month and charged them each with Third Degree Theft.
