The National Weather Service will be hosting a spotter training in Manchester tonight.
The spotter training classes are held around the area every year, giving emergency personnel, the media and others the opportunity to become trained in spotting severe storms and reporting severe weather. And the class is open to the public – anyone can become a spotter.
The class in Manchester will be held tonight at 6:30 pm at the Manchester Fire Station. It’ll last about two hours and it’s free to attend, with no pre-registration required.
The National Weather Service will also be offering several virtual spotter training classes this year. For more information, check out their website at weather.gov/dvn.
