The Manchester Police Department has a new officer.
Officer Jared Coyle, who is originally from the Hopkinton area, has joined the department. He’s one of two new officers hired to replace longtime officers Rick Carnicle and Jim Wessels, who retired earlier this year.
Coyle worked for the Janesville Police Department before joining the Manchester PD.
He was sworn in by Mayor Behnken on Tuesday. Chief Jim Hauschild says he will be a great addition to the department and community.
