West Delaware is making changes to their Return to Learn plan.
The Return to Learn plan was created to help keep students and staff safe while learning in school during the pandemic.
Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey says they’ve been keeping up on what the CDC recommendations are and closely watching what’s happening with COVID, especially here in Iowa.
Based on those two things, Rickey says the board has decided to make some changes.
Rickey says they do have a couple of trigger points, so if something with the pandemic changes, they’ll be ready to change as well.
It was two years ago last night that Governor Reynolds announced Iowa schools would temporarily close as the COVID-19 pandemic started to impact the state.
