Fire has destroyed a house at Lake Delhi.
The Delhi Fire Department was called to 20644 260th Street in the Freddie’s Beach area around 9 am Friday. Beacon lists Richard and Teresa Carr as the owners of the property.
Fire Chief Joe Vorwald tells KMCH that the house was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Fire departments from Manchester, Earlville and Delaware also responded with mutual aid.
He says the home was a complete loss. No injuries were reported.
No word on what may have caused the fire.
