A driver was arrested after a chase in Arlington on Tuesday night.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says one of their deputies tried stopping a Toyota Tundra SR5 truck for traffic infractions shortly after 10 pm – but the driver, 45-year old Aaron Elledge of Arlington, eluded the deputy and continued to violate multiple traffic offenses, driving at a high rate of speed of about three-fourths of a mile before stopping at a home.
Elledge then fled on foot – he was apprehended a short time later.
He was taken into custody on a charge of Eluding and transported to the Fayette County Jail.
