Hopkinton Woman Arrested for Using and Selling Meth from Home

A Hopkinton woman has been arrested for using and selling meth from her home.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office took 32-year old Kimberly Kay Koopmann into custody last Tuesday morning.
In the filed complaint and affidavit, the Sheriff’s Office says a search warrant was executed at Koopmann’s home on Culver Road Northeast.
The search team found more than ten grams of a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine that was individually packaged for re-sale. The search team also found several digital scales, packaging bags, several pipes and bongs, and a large amount of cash and cash cards – as well as a glass sheet in the home’s common area that had a crystal substance on it that field-tested positive for meth. The Sheriff’s Office says this sheet of glass was used to separate methamphetamine lines for use or to package for re-sale.
The complaint and affidavit also says law enforcement observed Koopmann having numerous people over to her home within a time period to use meth and sell meth to.
Koopmann was taken into custody on five charges, including Drug Trafficking, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Drug Tax Stamp Violations, Gathering Where Controlled Substances Are Used and Keeping a Vehicle or Premise for Controlled Substances.
