Manchester City Council Meeting Recap

The Manchester City Council has approved the City’s proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year starting July 1st.

City Manager Tim Vick says the City will be increasing the levy rate.

So Vick says a higher levy rate doesn’t necessarily mean higher taxes.

The City Council did not receive any comments about the proposed budget during last night’s public hearing.

And also at their meeting, the Manchester City Council approved resurfacing the alley that runs north/south just east of 301 West Main Street. They’ll be adding curb and gutter too. Kluesner Construction was the low bidder at just under $21,000.
