Camp Courageous Director Delivers Medical Supplies to Ukraine

A Monticello man recently spent a few days helping in Ukraine.
Charlie Becker, who serves as the director at Camp Courageous, recently returned from a medical mission trip to the war-torn country. He says it was a last minute idea that came to him while sitting at work one afternoon.
Chad has a friend in Poland named Sam, who became the Beckers’ main contact and made a lot of their arrangements for them. After a stop in Poland to drop off some supplies, they headed to Ukraine.
Becker says it was heartwarming to see the sense of unity in both Poland and Ukraine – despite all the tragedy and challenges they’ve been dealt.
If you’d like to help pay for supplies to send over to the frontlines in Ukraine, Becker has a suggestion.
And he appreciates everyone locally who helped support their trip.
