Delaware Co. Relay for Life Team Hosting Movie Fundraiser at Castle Theatre

The Delaware County Relay for Life is back this summer – and the local teams involved are busy finding various ways to raise money for the event, with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

One of the teams is “Hope and Faith”, headed by co-captains Shirley Helmrichs and Jenny Pettlon. Helmrichs say they’re inviting everyone to join them for a movie fundraiser tonight at Castle Theatre in Manchester.

The movie is called “Facing the Giants” – an action-packed drama about a Christian high school football coach who uses his underlying faith to battle the giants of fear and failure. Helmrichs says the family in the movie goes through some struggles – and she says that’s probably something most people can relate to.

Tonight’s movie begins at 6:30 pm.
