Car Crashes into Dyersville Business Storefront

A car crashed into the storefront of a Dyersville business on Monday afternoon.

It happened shortly before 1 pm at Just For You in the Stone Creek Shopping Center on the south side of town.

Dyersville Police say a car driven by 83-year old Theresa Heim of Dubuque drove through the front of the store, with half of the car entering the building.

Police say how the accident happened is still under investigation.

The accident caused an estimated $10,000 in damage to Just For You’s building and merchandise. The business is owned by Robyn Maiers.

Just For You staff tells KMCH they’re just grateful no one was hurt. They’re open for business as usual.
