The annual Delaware County Metal Recycling Event is set for Saturday, April 23rd from 8am until Noon tomorrow at the East Gate of the Delaware Co. Fairgrounds.
Organizers try to keep the event close to Earth Day (Friday) to promote taking care of the community and to help folks with their Spring Cleaning too.
So what can you bring? Scrap metal, washers, dryers, microwaves, bikes and other items. Note: larger items can be donated with a small fee.
Missi with thede’s Computer Repair and Recycling will be there to take electronics like computers, laptops, cellphones, printers, ink cartridges, satellite boxes, VCRs, and similar items. They’ll also have a drop box at their location at 101 Woodland Drive in Manchester if you can’t make the event.
NO TVs, old monitors, tires, bulbs, or hazardous waste such as paints or chemicals will be accepted.
