The Manchester City Council met Monday night, approving a development agreement with Joe Hildebrand to build two duplex condos in the Bailey Drive Estates Subdivision. The agreement will provide 80 percent property tax rebate for ten years. The proposed agreement mimics the development agreements that he was awarded in 2017, 2020 and 2021.
In other city news, a proposal from Sisters Marketing has been approved by the council to help the City with marketing and communication. For $2,500 a month, Sisters Marketing will address the City’s social media accounts, website, photography, community promotion and messaging. This will be done on a 6-month trial basis and paid for from franchise fees.
And the Manchester City Council has received another request for a special exception to livestock restrictions from Anthony Bardgett for property at 713 Ridgewood Drive. With so many requests recently, City Manager Tim Vick says the council is looking at creating a permit for residents who are interested in having backyard chickens.
