Maquoketa Valley High School has been ranked as one of the top public high schools in the state.
The U.S. News & World Report recently published their ranking of Iowa’s public high schools, with Maquoketa Valley ranked 13th.
The school district has been mentioned in the rankings before – the high school ranked #6 last year and #21 in 2020, with both the middle school ranked #10 and Delhi Elementary ranked #4 last year too.
Maquoketa Valley High School Principal Troy Osterhaus says he cannot say enough how proud he is of their teachers and staff for their hard work and dedication in providing their students with a high-quality education. Osterhaus says he’s also thankful that they have tremendous students, which is a direct result of the great support from their parents and community.
