The community of Greeley is mourning the loss of their fire chief.
Chief Dave Pierschbacher passed away Thursday at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. He was 46.
Pierschbacher joined the Greeley Fire Department in 2000 and became fire chief in 2006. He also served in many other areas, including as a CPR instructor and EMT.
Funeral services for Chief Pierschbacher will be held Wednesday at 11 am at the Greeley Fire Department, with visitation Tuesday from 2 to 8 pm and Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Greeley Fire Department.
