Beckman Catholic Partnering with FarmTek for Engineering Apprenticeship Program

Dyersville’s Beckman Catholic High School is partnering with FarmTek to create an engineering apprenticeship program.

Principal Marcel Kielkucki says Beckman currently offers Project Lead the Way and the high school is looking to change up their engineering program. He says they’ve been working with NICC and Dyersville Economic Development on this for about two years.

Kielkucki says they’ve lined up that content plus some other courses that are necessary so that Beckman students can soon apply to become an apprentice at FarmTek, working as an engineering assistant.

He says students will have a chance to apply in a few months. Beckman plans to hold meetings for interested students and their parents right before the start of the new school year this fall.
