Manchester has live music tonight at Riverfront Park, with “The Large Midgets” playing from 6 to 8 pm.
It’s part of the City’s “Music on the Maquoketa” series – back this summer, with three different musicians the first Thursday night in June, July and August.
City council member Tanya Bradley says the event is a way for the City to showcase Riverfront Park, which was built a few years ago right along the Manchester Whitewater Park on West Main Street- and she says it’s a fun way for the community to get together on a summer night, too.
It’s free to attend – and Food’s Here mobile food truck will be on hand too.
Mark Zalaznik will perform at “Music on the Maquoketa” on July 7th. Elizabeth Mary will wrap up the series this summer on August 4th.
