Good Neighbor Society Campus Recommends Postponing Visits Due to COVID

The Good Neighbor Society campus is asking people to hold off on visiting their residents for now.

Due to increased COVID numbers in the community and on the Good Neighbor Society campus, they’re asking everyone to postpone in-person visits until a later time.

CEO Matt Carpenter tells KMCH they are experiencing an outbreak of COVID cases at The Meadows, their assisted living facility on campus. He says there were multiple positive tests this morning.

Community transmission is also at a high level right now in Delaware County.

If you must visit, the Good Neighbor Society is asking that you please be educated on the risk and follow appropriate procedures. You will be expected to wear a mask and eye protection and go directly to the tenant’s room and continue wearing the mask and eye protection while in their room.

We’ll let you know when the Good Neighbor Society lifts that recommendation.
