One person died in an accident east of Coggon early Wednesday morning.
It happened shortly before 4:30 am at Highway 13 and Monticello Road. The Linn County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle heading westbound on Monticello Road lost control on a curve and rolled several times, coming to rest in the south ditch.
The driver, 33-year old Michaela Devaney of Cedar Rapids, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
