Three Arrested in Fayette County Drug Bust

Three people have been arrested in a drug bust in Fayette County.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says they executed a search warrant at 16628 Empire Road in Wadena early Friday morning around 12:30 am.

The Sheriff’s Office seized multiple illegal substances, including over half a pound of methamphetamine, more than a pound of psychedelic mushrooms, just under five pounds of marijuana, three and a half pounds of THC edibles, around one hundred THC oil cartridges vapes and just under half a pound of chocolate edible psychedelic mushrooms. 

Authorities arrested 60-year old Connie Wilson, 52-year old Frederick Degreif and 56-year old Steven Boleyn, all of Wadena. 

Wilson was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver methamphetamine (B Felony), with Possession with Intent to Deliver psychedelic mushrooms, marijuana, and THC Oils (All D Felonies) Possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, cannabidiol, psychedelic mushrooms and drug paraphernalia (misdemeanors). Degreif was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Offense, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, and THC Oils, all D Felonies, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Boleyn was charged with Possession of a controlled substance 3rd Offense Methamphetamine D Felony and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor.

If convicted, Wilson could face up to 40 years in prison and Degreif could face up to 20 years in prison. 

Fayette County Sheriff Marty Fisher estimates that the street value of the controlled substances that were seized could be up to $60,000.  

This incident remains under investigation.
