A Manchester woman was injured in a collision in Fayette County on Sunday.
It happened around 1:30 pm west of Strawberry Point on Highway 3 just west of Alberta Road. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year old Katie Brooks of Manchester was driving eastbound when her car was hit by a westbound SUV. Authorities say the driver of the SUV, 26-year old Angeline Barber of Iowa City, was attempting to turn left into a private driveway.
Brooks was transported to Regional Medical Center in Manchester with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both vehicles were totaled.
Barber was cited for failing to yield upon making a left-hand turn.
