Delaware County Youth Participate in ‘Pint-Size Science’ Day Camp

On Tuesday, June 14th, 23 youth attended ISU Extension and Outreach Delaware County’s ‘Pint-Size Science’ day camp. To start the day, the youth became scientists by learning safety rules and receiving scientific notebooks to use throughout the day. Youth then worked to detect differences between sugar and salt to practice their observation skills! The rest of the day included a bubbling volcano demonstration, slime-making, a density experiment, and more!

‘Pint-Size Science’ day camp is a part of ISU Extension and Outreach Delaware County’s Summer Youth Adventure Programs. The next day camp will be ‘Growing Up Wild’ on June 21st at Bailey’s Ford Park in Manchester.
