An Arlington woman and her child were injured in a rollover in Clayton County on Sunday morning.
It happened west of Volga on Bell Road west of Bixby Avenue shortly after 11:30 am. The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office says Jessica Kramer drifted onto the right shoulder and overcorrected, causing her vehicle to cross the centerline and proceed back across Bell Road, entering the north ditch and rolling before coming to rest on its top.
Kramer was ejected from her vehicle, while her baby remained inside the vehicle until first responders arrived to get the child out.
Both Kramer and the child were transported to Regional Medical Center in Manchester to be evaluated. They were released a short time later with minor injuries.
Kramer was cited for failing to maintain control and failing to maintain a safety belt.
