DeAnn Supple – Manchester

DeAnn Catherine Supple, 83, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood, Iowa.  Visitation for DeAnn will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Church with the Reverend Gabriel Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Ryan, Iowa. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester is in charge of arrangements.

DeAnn was born on December 23, 1938, in Ryan, the daughter of Mathew and Mildred (Phillips) Corcoran. She was raised in the Ryan area and graduated from St. Patrick School High School in Ryan.

On September 5, 1959, DeAnn was united in marriage to James Supple at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ryan. Two children were born into this union, the couple later divorced. DeAnn worked at the Office of Special Education; Corcoran’s Clothing, Foreman & Clark Clothing in Cedar Rapids and retired as an in-home health aide. DeAnn was a long-time member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was an active member of the Delaware County Right to Life, St. Mary Catholic Daughters and Prayer Group.

DeAnn is survived by her two children, Thomas Supple and Angie Tilley; five grandchildren, Codie Crowley, Melissa Supple, Kelsey Tilley, Brent Tilley, Katherine Tilley; several great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Shaffer; brothers, Jim (Doris) Corcoran, Bill (Karen) Corcoran, Pat Corcoran and numerous, nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathew and Mildred Corcoran; and her former husband, James Supple.
