Gubernatorial Candidate DeJear Visiting Camp Courageous in Monticello

The Democratic nominee for Iowa Governor will be traveling to Monticello on Wednesday.

Deidre DeJear will visit Camp Courageous, the recreational and respite care facility for children with special needs and their families.

DeJear will have lunch with the campers and their families. Afterwards, she’ll assist with an arts and crafts activity, followed by a tour of the facility.

The visit to the camp is part of her Workday Wednesday series.

DeJear won the Democratic nomination after running unopposed in the June primary. She’ll challenge Republican incumbent Kim Reynolds for Iowa Governor in the November general election.
