The Delaware County Master Gardeners are looking for new members.
If you love gardening and want to get back to your community in that way, Barb Recker says they’ll be holding a Master Gardener training this fall.
The Delaware County Master Gardeners host a variety of events throughout the year, including their Mondays in March educational series and their annual Plant Sale in May. They also maintain and care for several community gardens throughout the county.
The training is open to anyone 18 and older and, once again this year, it will be held mostly online.
Today (Friday, July 8th) is the deadline to apply for the Master Gardener training. You can sign up or find out more by contacting the Delaware County Extension Office at 927-4201.
