Walter Steven “Steve” Intorf – Delhi

Walter Steven “Steve” Intorf, 71, of Delhi, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester. He was born on May 2, 1951, in Osage, the son of Walter and Alice (Wagner) Intorf.

Steve was raised and educated in Osage and was a 1969 graduate of Osage High School. He then received an associates
degree at NIACC in Mason City.

On November 24, 1973, Steve was united in marriage to Marcia Mead. Three children were born to this family. The family lived in Manchester before moving to Delhi. Steve worked at Bradco for 32 years until his retirement.

Steve enjoyed music and playing drums. He loved gardening and grew many varieties of hostas. Steve enjoyed reading, especially the Bible. He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Minnesota Vikings fan. Steve especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events. His family was very important to him.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 49 years, Marcia Intorf of Delhi; his three children, Chad Intorf of Garden Grove, California, Kara (Sean) Meloy of Cedar Rapids, and Bryce (Heather) Intorf of Delhi; seven grandchildren, Preston, Remington, Elmar, Hunter, Sam, Tate, and Tessa; 1 great-grandson, Astmar; one sister,
Jane (Tim) Niess of Osage; and several nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Delhi United Methodist Church in Delhi, Iowa, with
Rev. Keith Pitts officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, Iowa.

Inurnment: Oakland Cemetery – Manchester, Iowa
